Time and Location of practice. Our practice takes place weekly on every Saturday mornings from 8:30 am until 10:30 am. The timing is to allow for youth, students, and working adults to attend, and still be able to have a full remainder of the day ahead of them after practice. Location of practice is at the East Gym of the Lawrence Family JCC in La Jolla, California. The address is: 4126 Executive Dr La Jolla, CA 92037 The JCC facility has a convenience store, coffee shop, outdoor dining area within the building for your convenience. Additionally, the shower and changing room will be accessible to the participants at Shofukan Kendo Dojo. To reach the East Gym from the main entrance, turn left once you have entered the building past the security guard. The East Gym is at the end of the hallway (past the convenient store, coffee shop, and the check-in station). First time adult visitors, please bring your drivers license or state issued photo ID. A on-day visitors pass for entering the facility can be obtained from the security station at the front entrance when you provide your drivers license or photo ID. (ID not required for youth under the age of 14). Please excuse any incomplete areas of our website. Our site is still under contruction and photographs are still being collected and sorted.
