SCKF Individual Championships (JUN)

Date: Sunday, June 29th, 2025
- Sign-in: 08:00 - 08:30
Location: El Rancho High School, 6501 Passons Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660
Divisions: 9-years old and younger, 10-11 years old, 12 -14 years old, 15 -17 years old (kyu), 18+ years old (kyu), Women's Championship (15+, any rank), Men's Championship (Yudansha only)
Eligibility for Women's and Men's Championships:
- Must have been a member of SCKF for the 12 months prior to the Championship
- Shinai weight check will be conducted
Fees:
- Kyu (17 and under): $25.00
- Kyu (18+): $35.00
- Yudansha: $35.00
- Bento: $12.00

SCKF Kata Seminar (JUL)

Date: Sunday, July 13th, 2025
- 09:00 - 16:00. Sign in closes @ 08:45
Location: Walker Junior High School, 8132 Walker St, La Palma, CA 90623
Eligibility:
- Attendance is restricted to 2 dan and above who already know and can perform the basics of all 10 kata
- Note: Starting in April 2024, applicants for 3dan and above shinsa (including kodansha/shogo ranks) must have attended one kata seminar and one shinpan seminar within the previous 2 years
Please bring:
- bokuto set (tachi and kodachi)
- keikogi and hakama
- tare and nafuda
- bento payment
- bogu and shinai (there will be godo geiko at the end)
Fees:
- Bento: $12.00
